Fellowship-Short Term

I had joined mneh for a short sics fellowship in the month of Aug 2017, for improving my techniques as I had already learnt sics elsewhere.. I would easily say that it is the best place to join to know wat to do n wat not to do and more importantly, how to do it the best way.. I had the opportunity to operate under the supervision of some of the best surgeons like Dr. Nishanth, Dr.Nivean, Dr.shruti and Dr. Malarchelvi.. I was being corrected at every step of mine from day one which made a huge difference.. Suddenly at the end of the short course, even a small pupil seemed very easy wen I followed their instructions! Best part of it was, when I had complications, no one scolded or made a negative comment.. Every doctor tried their best to analyze where I went wrong n made sure I don't repeat the same next time.. Dr. Nivean was very approachable which made the training very comfortable.. Special mention about Dr.Nishanths training skills (he was the best at it) and Dr. Shrutis friendly n patient nature during the training sessions.. The post graduates and theatre assistants were very friendly as well, making my training session an awesome experience altogether.

The phacoemulsification training program offered at M.N eye hospital was a good experience. I joined the training because I felt I needed more experience in performing this surgery. M.N eye hospital was recommended to me through friends who had trained here and via positive feedback from my professors. The number of cases and the consistency of training days per week were good. My trainers were very supportive and encouraging. Their feedback through the weeks of my training helped me visibly improve my surgical skills with every passing day. The assisting staff was respectful and friendly as well. At the end of this training program I am definitely a more confident phaco surgeon.

I took my steps forward towards d doors of MN hospital as an I was totally not aware about whats in store for me, or rather my career. From just another resident who knew how to handle OP cases to an Ophthalmologist who can confidently perform a surgery that is what the faculty over here make you. The motivation they give during evry juncture of your journey could never be explained in mere words. They are there for you always with an empathetic gesture. Let it be academic or clinical, their only intention is to bring out the best in you. I was always happy with my decision of choosing this stream but you made me fall in love with it. Even while jotting my heart out, i feel so much obliged towards you With such a strong backsupport anyone can reach the zenith of success.
